Inversant is committed to helping the entire family invest in higher education.

Launched in May 2017, Coffee Connectors is a networking opportunity exclusively for Inversant students. By participating in Coffee Connectors, first-generation college students and recent graduates can improve their professional skills and make meaningful connections with industry leaders.

The idea behind the Coffee Connectors program is to connect young adults that are the first in their respective families to attend college with executives in the Boston business community. Many of these young adults, who are also graduates of programs that support “first gen” students to attend college, leave school with a diploma but lack an extensive business network in the Boston corporate community.

Unfortunately, many find it difficult to get a job post-college or transition to a better job a few years out of from college. Without an active network these students/young professionals face a distinct disadvantage when trying to network and open doors for future professional opportunities. Coffee Connectors offers the opportunity for business leaders to help expand the networks and opportunities of these students and young professionals over a short coffee and improve their prospects for future jobs and professional connections.
