On June 9, Inversant’s board of advisors’ member Andrea Levere and President Bill Clinton launched the Corporation for Enterprise Development’s (CFED) Campaign for Every Kid’s Future. The campaign’s mission is to raise children’s savings accounts visibility and ensure that at least 1.4 million children have a savings account in their name by 2020.

Inversant has been helping families save for higher education since 2009. As the only Massachusetts partner, we are excited to be part of the Campaign for Every Kid’s Future and advance the goal of propelling more youth toward college. The campaign’s mission is to raise CSA’s visibility and ensure that at least 1.4 million children have a savings account in their name by 2020. Why? Because the data is clear: low-income students with just $500 in college savings are three times more likely to enroll in college and four times more likely to graduate. By 2025, the US will face a shortfall of 11 million skilled workers. It is imperative that more students of more backgrounds enter and complete college. CSAs are a huge step in that direction.

As the only Massachusetts partner, we are excited to be part of the Campaign for Every Kid’s Future and advance the goal of propelling more youth toward college. With additional support and resources from CFED, we are committed to increasing the number of Greater Boston families who are saving now with an eye on the future.
