Angie Henderson will tell you that she’s always thought about saving for her daughter Sequoyah’s college education but never found a program she thought would best serve her needs. She learned about Inversant when Sequoyah brought home a flyer from school at the beginning of her freshman year. Angie decided to attend a Savings Circle and was hooked. “Inversant works best for me because it’ll help me save and learn about the college application process,” Angie says.
Angie graduated from Bunker Hill Community College and is now working in the customer service field. She believes that college is very important because a college education will prepare you for a better life. “You need to gain knowledge and prepare yourself for the growing economy. At some point you won’t be able to become a garbage man without a degree” she tells us. Sequoyah is currently a freshman at Chelsea High School and aspires to be a pediatrician. Angie says she will support Sequoyah with anything she decides to study and any school she decides to attend because she knows they’ll be very well informed to make the right decision. “Inversant is doing a great job,” Angie adds. “More people have to try and join the program because there is a lot you can learn to help your kid get to school.”
