Inversant Welcomes New Staff Members

Introducing Bianca Pérez and Paola Gaona Salamanca

We are excited to welcome our new programming staff to the Inversant team: Bianca Pérez, Programs Coordinator and Paola Gaona Salamana, Program Associate.

Bianca’s previous experiences include working in the affordable housing field and in finance. She has worked in a direct service capacity for over ten years, primarily in advocacy and financial coaching. Bianca is excited to be a part of the Inversant team, especially in offering strategies and tools for families to help empower their children on the road to higher education.

Bianca will be your the facilitator for Revere, Camp Harbor View, TEEP (Trinity Education for Excellence Program), and The Boys & Girls Club.

Paola is a first-generation immigrant, high school graduate, and college student. She is currently pursing a degree in psychology and education. Paola has a passion for college affordability and alternative education pathways for “non-traditional” students. She has worked in a variety of organizations including The Youth Justice and Power Union as the Lead Organizer of Sustainability and Campaigns and at the Native American Youth Enrichment Program as a director.

Paola will be your program facilitator for KIPP and La Vida Scholars.

Estamos felices de darle la bienvenida a las nuevas miembras del equipo Inversant: Bianca Pérez, Coordinadora de Programas y Paola Gaona Salamanca, Program Associate.

Las experiencias previas de Bianca incluyen trabajando por el campo de la vivienda asequible y en finanzas. Ha trabajado en una capacidad de servicio directo durante más de diez años, principalmente en defensa de la vivienda y coaching financiero. Bianca está entusiasmada de ser parte del equipo de Inversant, especialmente en ofreciando estrategias y herramientas para ayudar las familias a empoderar a sus hijos en el camino de la educación superior.

Paola inmigro al país como niña, es la primera de su familia en graduarse de bachiller y también la primera en su familia a asistir la universidad. Actualmente está terminando su carrera en psicología y educación elemental. A Paola le apasiona la igualdad en asequibilidad universitaria y le interesa mucho las vías educativas alternativas para estudiantes “no tradicionales” como ella. Ha trabajado en una variedad de organizaciones, incluyendo The Youth Justice and Power Union como Organizadora Principal de Sustentabilidad y Campañas, y dirigió NAYEP (Native American Youth Enrichement Program).
