Nancy Lipinksi!
Nancy Lipinksi is no stranger to the college process and costs, having attended North Shore Community College herself. However, she is aware that there is a lot of savings and learning to do for her daughter, Emma’s college education. Nancy first learned about Inversant through another parent and decided to join this year as Emma began her freshman year at Salem High School.
“College is so expensive so any kind of help is nice. It’s a great idea to save money early on, the incentives are great because they encourage you to start early and save.” Nancy shares that a college fund was started for Emma by her husband’s company after he passed away. She plans on continuing to save so she can prepare herself for any college expense she may have to face. Nancy says that the Learning Circles will be a learning experience for her because she understands that the college process will be different for Emma than it was for her.
“Neither of my parents graduated high school so my sisters and I tried to do better than our parents did. We now push our own children to go even further and do better than us.” Nancy expresses how proud she is of Emma’s hard work and accomplishments. Emma enjoys singing and theater, and hopes to teach it one day. We wish Nancy and Emma the best of luck!
